Flower Tips pt II

Don't use pure mulch to plant your flowers. They need soil.

Don't plant your flowers deeper than the container they came in.

When you're buying fertilizer for your flowers, make sure to choose one with a higher "middle" number. Miracle Grow or Peter's both work well. Only use half strength on newly planted flowers.

When you're removing flowers from their containers, don't grab the plant and pull it out (it may break). Turn the container upside down and push the flower out from the bottom.

Make sure you've prepared your flower beds before planting. This is the best way to ensure healthy plants.
